In short: SpeakerLink has no account, no ads, no analytics and no servers. We do not collect your data. Everything below describes what the app does on your phone and in your network, and how we handle the emails you send us.

SpeakerLink captures the sound of the app you choose, using Android’s audio capture, and sends it over your local network to the receiver you choose. Android words its permission prompts as “record audio” and “share your screen”, because sound capture uses those permissions. SpeakerLink takes only the sound of the chosen app: it does not record your voice and never takes a picture of your screen. The sound is not stored, and it is not sent to us or to the internet.
The app keeps these settings in its private storage on your phone. They are not sent anywhere, and Android does not back them up:
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of this.
To find receivers, SpeakerLink looks for them on your Wi-Fi network, and it connects to the one you choose. The receiver can see your phone’s address on that network and a sender name. What a receiver or its maker does with that is governed by their own policies. The app asks for the internet permission only to use network connections of this kind. It does not contact any server of ours.
If something does not work, you can turn on diagnostics in the FAQ screen. The app then keeps a log on your phone, with network addresses masked. A report also contains your phone’s make and model, the Android and app versions, and the app you picked. Nothing leaves your phone until you tap Send, and sending happens through your own email app, to support@speakerlink.app. You can clear the log at any time.
If you write to support@speakerlink.app, or send a diagnostic report, we receive your email address and what you wrote. We use it only to answer you and to fix the problem, on the basis of our legitimate interest in supporting users. We keep it until your request is resolved and delete it afterwards, in any case within 12 months. Mail to this address is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our mailbox with an email provider, and both act as processors on our behalf.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies and no analytics. Cloudflare may process technical data about each request, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site.
The app has no in-app payments. If that changes, we will say so here, and purchases would be handled by Google Play, so we would not receive your payment details.
SpeakerLink is not directed at children.
For the emails we hold, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Write to support@speakerlink.app. You can also complain to the supervisory authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or the authority in your own country.
