SpeakerLink sends an app’s sound from your Android phone to many speakers, amplifiers and computers that support AirPlay, over your Wi-Fi. No extra box, no account.
Coming soon to Google PlayChoose the app whose sound you want to hear on the speaker.
Receivers on your Wi-Fi appear by themselves.
Android asks for a quick confirmation, and the sound moves to the speaker.
Save an app and a receiver as a quick settings tile or a home screen widget and start with one tap.
Use the slider, the notification buttons or your phone’s volume buttons.
Sound continues with the screen off, and you can stop it from the notification.
Follows your system theme, in English and Polish.
The sound goes straight from your phone to your receiver over your own network. SpeakerLink has no account, no ads and sends nothing by itself.
Android requires a confirmation each time an app takes over the sound of another app. SpeakerLink sends only the sound of the app you chose to the receiver, never the picture of your screen. Some receivers, such as a computer, also ask you to accept the connection on their own screen: accept it there (declining ends the connection). A password does not turn this off.
Three ways: the slider in the app, the quieter / louder buttons in the streaming notification, and your phone’s volume buttons. They work only while SpeakerLink is streaming and change the volume on the receiver, not on the phone. If an app that plays sound is on screen, the phone’s buttons control that app instead (see below). All show the same level in percent. The maximum is limited on purpose, so it does not get too loud.
Turn off battery optimisation for SpeakerLink: tap “Settings” on the main screen, open Battery and choose “Unrestricted”.
